Description Northwest Indian College

Northwest Indian College (Xwlemi Elh>Tal>Nexw Squl), established by the Lummi Nation, is the only accredited Tribal College or University serving reservation communities of Washington, Oregon, and Idaho.

The NWIC mission is:

to promote Tribal self-determination through higher education and Indigenous knowledge.
to serve the post-secondary educational needs of American Indian people living in the Pacific Northwest.
